REAGAN:
FOREIGN POLICY
In the "Reagan: Foreign Policy" mini unit students will evaluate Reagan's Foreign Agenda at the end of the Cold War. Students will examine tough-talking rhetoric that contributed to the fall of the Berlin Wall shortly after his presidency.
REAGAN:DOMESTIC POLICY
Reagan's domestic policy and economic agenda are examined in this mini-unit which analyzes the elections of 1980 and 1984, supply side economics, the New Right, Savings and Loans Scandal.
the GEORGE H.W. BUSH
ADMINISTRATION
Students will take a look at the Bush Sr.'s administration and examine his role in the ending of the cold war, Operation Desert Storm, and the "new taxes"
the CLINTON ADMINISTRATION
Students are taken through the 90s during this mini-unit which examines the administration of the first "baby boomer" president. Students will analyze the growing tumult in the MiddleEeast, including the growth of al Qaeda.
the NEW MILLENNIUM
the New Millennium is a review unit of the past 20 years. Students will learn about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and examine the military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan. Students will analyze how the growth of new technology such as the internet and social media shaped politics and culture..
